Who each product is for
EasyDMARC presents itself as an email trust platform: one product that covers email authentication, DNS management, sender insights for deliverability, and threat intelligence. Its business plans start with DMARC Plus, described as core DMARC monitoring and tools for smaller teams, and DMARC Premium, which adds automation and expert support. Above those sit a Deliverability plan and an Enterprise plan, both priced on request. A separate pricing page for managed service providers and agencies starts at ten domains and adds partner tooling.
Patchkit is narrower on purpose. Its monitoring focuses on SPF, DKIM and DMARC: telling you what is wrong in plain language, giving you the record to publish, and reading your DMARC reports so you can reach p=reject safely. Its free tools also check BIMI, MTA-STS, blocklists and reverse DNS, one lookup at a time. It suits a small business, a developer or a small IT team that wants that job done without buying a wider platform.
Price and plan limits
On the EasyDMARC pricing page, DMARC Plus covers 2 domains, three months of data history and unlimited users, and its price is a starting price for 100,000 emails a month, with higher volume tiers to choose from. DMARC Premium covers 4 domains with a year of history and is listed from $71.99 a month billed annually. Annual billing saves 20 percent compared with paying monthly, and both plans start with a free trial that needs no credit card. The pricing page shows no free plan. The prices for DMARC Plus are in the table above, exactly as listed.
EasyDMARC's plans differ in two ways at once: how much mail and how many domains they cover, and which modules they unlock. Patchkit's plans differ only in size. Its tiers set the number of domains and how far back the dashboard looks, from 1 domain and 14 days on Free, through 3 domains and 90 days on Starter at $9/mo, to 15 domains on Pro at $29/mo and 75 on Agency at $79/mo. Email volume never changes the price, and yearly billing is charged as 10 months. On seats EasyDMARC is more generous: unlimited users on every plan, against team seats for up to 10 people on Patchkit's Agency plan.
Free tools without an account
EasyDMARC offers a wide set of free tools. Its tools page lists checkers and generators for SPF, DKIM, DMARC, BIMI, MTA-STS and TLS-RPT, a raw SPF validator, a BIMI logo converter, a domain scanner, a DNS record lookup that covers MX and other record types, and DMARC report analyzers. Patchkit has free BIMI and MTA-STS checkers, an MTA-STS generator that also writes the TLS-RPT record, and a TLS-RPT report analyzer, but no BIMI generator or logo converter.
Patchkit's free tools are the domain health check, the DMARC checker, the SPF checker, the DKIM checker, the MX lookup, the SPF generator, the DKIM generator, the DMARC generator, the DMARC report analyzer, the email header analyzer, the BIMI checker, the MTA-STS checker, the MTA-STS generator, the TLS-RPT report analyzer, the blacklist checker and the PTR checker. The health check scores DMARC, SPF, DKIM and MX at once, and the DMARC generator can upgrade a record you already have. All of them are one-off checks that need no account. Monitoring is narrower: the scheduled health measurement scores DMARC, SPF, DKIM and MX, and record alerts watch your DMARC and SPF records. Common findings link to a generator or a guide that explains the fix, and the setup guides walk through common senders and DNS hosts.
Report monitoring and alerts
Every EasyDMARC plan processes both aggregate (rua) and failure (ruf) reports, with more than thirty integrations listed on DMARC Plus. Alerting is listed from DMARC Premium, described as proactive DMARC alerts; the pricing table does not list it on DMARC Plus. Premium also adds AI agents and email support, and annual Plus and Premium subscriptions include a dedicated customer success manager.
Here the tiering runs the other way round. On EasyDMARC, failure reports come with every plan but alerting waits for Premium; on Patchkit, there are no failure reports at all, but alerts are part of the free plan. The entry tier of each product therefore covers different ground: DMARC Plus gives you ruf data without alerts, Patchkit Free gives you dashboard alerts for removed or changed records, SPF over the lookup limit, new unknown senders, alignment drops and stopped reports, without ruf data. Starter adds email delivery of those alerts, and a weekly summary email comes with every Patchkit plan. Patchkit has no integrations with other tools.
The path to p=reject
EasyDMARC's authentication module promises to help you achieve and maintain DMARC enforcement, and Managed DMARC, included on every plan, is described as a way to reach DMARC compliance directly from the EasyDMARC dashboard. From DMARC Premium, EasySPF manages SPF for you to avoid the too-many-DNS-lookups error.
Managed DMARC means EasyDMARC holds your DMARC record: its setup guide has you delete your own _dmarc TXT record and publish a CNAME that EasyDMARC provides, after which policy changes happen in its portal. Patchkit leaves the record as a TXT entry in your zone. Its path-to-p=reject roadmap, the same on every plan, reads your recent reports, tells you which readiness criteria still fall short, and hands you the next record to paste. The trade-off is a DNS edit at each policy step in exchange for never delegating the record.
Where EasyDMARC is the better fit
EasyDMARC reaches well beyond DMARC, into DNS operations, deliverability and threat intelligence. If you want one vendor for that wider job, these are the parts Patchkit has no equivalent for:
- Failure (ruf) reports on every plan, alongside aggregate reports.
- Hosted SPF through EasySPF, Managed MTA-STS and TLS reporting, from DMARC Premium.
- Managed BIMI on every plan, with BIMI reporting and VMC monitoring on the larger plans.
- Unlimited users on every plan, and SSO, API access and audit logs on Enterprise.
- Deliverability features such as inbox placement tests, email verification and reputation monitoring, on the Deliverability plan.
- An MSP and agency plan priced by managed domain, with a partner portal, MSP training and lead generation help.
Patchkit's free BIMI checker, MTA-STS checker, MTA-STS generator and TLS-RPT report analyzer are one-off tools: it hosts none of these records and doesn't monitor them.
Patchkit makes sense when that breadth is more than you need. If the goal is simply to see who sends as your domain and get it to p=reject, a free plan that already includes alerts, and plans that grow by domain count rather than by module, keep the bill and the dashboard small. SPF stays a record you own, built with the SPF generator instead of a managed service.
How to switch, or try both
How you move depends on whether you set up EasyDMARC with your own DMARC record or with Managed DMARC. EasyDMARC's Managed DMARC setup guide has you delete the _dmarc TXT record and publish a CNAME from EasyDMARC in its place, so the record you see in DNS is a pointer, not the policy itself.
If your DMARC record is still a TXT record in your own DNS:
- Add the domain in Patchkit and copy the record from the setup screen; it keeps the EasyDMARC address and adds Patchkit's.
- Publish it in place of the old record and compare both dashboards for a week or two.
- Remove the EasyDMARC address from
ruawhen you are ready.
If you use Managed DMARC (a CNAME at _dmarc):
- Note the policy, alignment and report settings the EasyDMARC portal holds for the domain.
- Build a TXT record with the same settings and the Patchkit address, for example with the DMARC generator, keeping the EasyDMARC report address if you want to run both for a while.
- Delete the CNAME and publish the TXT record in one sitting, because a name cannot hold a CNAME and a TXT record together.
EasySPF and Managed MTA-STS are separate: if either manages records for you, put replacements at your DNS host before you cancel, since Patchkit offers neither. The domain health check confirms SPF, DKIM and DMARC afterwards.
Where these facts come from
EasyDMARC's plan limits and features come from its business and MSP pricing pages, its free tools from its tools page, and the Managed DMARC steps from its own setup guide, each read on the date at the top. Prices there depend on the email volume you select, so the table quotes the starting price shown by default. Spot something that has changed? Write to support@patchkit.app.
