Terms of Service

The service

Patchkit provides free tools to check and generate SPF, DKIM, DMARC and MX records, plus DMARC aggregate report monitoring for the domains you add to your account. The free tools are provided as-is, without warranty of any kind: we do our best to keep results accurate and the service available, but we do not guarantee uptime or that a check result is error-free. Always confirm DNS changes took effect before relying on them.

Acceptable use

The free tools are rate-limited per IP address to keep them available to everyone. Do not run automated, scripted or bulk queries designed to exceed or bypass these limits, scrape the tools at scale, or otherwise disrupt the service. We may block traffic that we reasonably believe is abusive.

Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and for keeping your account credentials secure. You must verify your email address before signing in. You may delete your account at any time from account settings; see our Privacy Policy for what that removes.

Paid plans

Paid plans are billed through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, on a subscription basis. You can cancel a subscription at any time; it remains active until the end of the billing period you already paid for. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us at support@patchkit.app.

DMARC report monitoring

By pointing your domain's DMARC rua tag at a Patchkit report address, you ask mailbox providers to send us aggregate reports for that domain, and you agree that we process them to build the reports we show you. Only add domains you control or are authorized to manage. Reports come from third-party providers on their own schedule, usually once a day, so the dashboard reflects what they send and when.

Limitation of liability

Patchkit is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither Patchkit nor Akaya Labs is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including abusive use of the free tools. You may stop using Patchkit and delete your account at any time.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do; continuing to use Patchkit after a change means you accept the updated terms.
